Imphal, January 21 2009: The Commander of 10 Sector Assam Rifles interacted with the representatives of Tangkhul Naga Long, Tangkhul Katamnao Saklong, Tangkhul Shanao Long and other organisations at the Headquarters on January 19 .

The Commander emphasised on the need of involvement of youths and social organisations in development of the Ukhrul town and to make it as a terror free zone.

He also appreciated the efforts of various organisations and promised all possible help in making Ukhrul a peaceful town.

The representatives of various organisations wholeheartedly applauded the good work of Assam Rifles in the area and expressed their gratitude towards Assam Rifles, said a press release of PRO Hqs IGAR(S) .
