AR conducts medical camp for students in Tamenglong

Tamenglong, July 19 2025: Assam Rifles organised a comprehensive medical camp at Eklavya Model Residential School in Tamenglong on Saturday, benefit-ting around 170 students, including a large number of girls.

According to officials, a team of medical officers from Assam Rifles conducted general health screenings during the camp, diagnosing and addressing common ailments among students.

Necessary medications were administered on the spot, along with guidance for follow-up care.

A special session on menstrual hygiene and sanitisation was also held for girl students as part of the outreach.

The session aimed to break the stigma around menstrual health, promote safe practices and encourage students to prioritise personal hygiene and seek timely medical advice.
