Lamka, March 18: The Kuki National Front in a statement issued today cleanses its hand in the slaying of one Kaimuonsang at Chiengkon late Sunday night.

In a statement made available to this correspondent, Isack Kuki Secretary Information & Publicity of the Kuki National Front said the party condemns such a coward and inhumane act.

'If nobody claims responsibility within three days the organization shall investigate the case and actions shall be taken against person (s) or group it deem fit,' the statement adds with a grim note and ask any responsible organization to own up the incident within its stipulated time.

It may be noted that a thirty one years old Kaimuansang, proprietor of Voice communication � a PCO, Xerox and DTP joint at Chiengkonpang village was killed by an unidentified gunmen after following a spat over cigarette lighter.

The killing has spark widespread protest in the entire township of Lamka yesterday crippling normal life.
