Imphal, April 16: The 24 hour bandh which was supposed to come into effect from midnight today has been called off for the time being as the agitation call coincides with 'Realisation Day' observance of AMSU tomorrow, said a release of Phumlou Konjin Loukol and Heibokching Land Protection Committee, Langthabal.

The Committee through the mass media had on an earlier occasion announced of imposing the bandh to protest alleged callousness of the Government to the Committee's demand for withdrawal of plan to acquire additional land in Langthabal area for expansion of the Manipur University.
