Canara Bank distributes SC/ST scholarship

Imphal, August 14 2024: Canara Bank on Wednesday distributed Canara Bank Dr Ambedkar Vidya Jyothi Scholarship, which is presented to meritorious SC/ ST girl students studying in Class V to X .

According to a release, Canara Bank RIMS Road Branch distributed the scholarships to select students of Lalambung High School, Imphal and Phayeng High School, while Canara Bank Imphal Branch honoured academic achievements of students of Sardar Patel High School, Khurkhul.

It informed that the scholarship is distributed every year to mark the celebration of India's Independence Day with the main objective of uplifting SC/ST girl students.
