Imphal, October 08 2026: The Moppet Decoration Cultural Centre, Yumnam Huidrom, Thiyam Leishangkhong Imphal West has performed the production and training cum exhibition of Manipuri Traditional String Puppetry "Khubak Esei" from October 3 to 7, said the centre in a statement.

The programme at G Jadu Sharma's Mandap was held under the Sangeet Natak Akademi, National Academy of Music, Dance and Drama, New Delhi.

The programme was held under Director G Basanta Sharma and three Gurus L Khaba Singh (Pung), G Jugeshwor Sharma (Puppetry) and Th Achou Singh (Nat Sankirtan).

Twenty artists participated in the programme.
