Imphal, May 06: Owners of five commercial establishments (shops) have been booked under Section 25 of the Manipur Shops and Establishment Act 1972 for their shops not remaining closed on May 4 (Sunday) as was laid down in the rule, informed a release issued by Deputy Labour Commissioner.

The five shops against which cases of offences had been booked include M/s Auto Servicing, Khoyathong bazar, Ms Nimkin Store, Thangal Bazar, Ms Shreeram Truck Factory, Khoyathong Bazar, Ms KS Spare Part, Khoyathong and Ms Binod Gas Stove Store, Khoyathong bazar.
