Army recovers vehicle after landslide

Imphal, June 01 2024: Indian Army successfully recovered a vehicle which got fallen into a ditch following a landslide on May 28 in Senapati district.

In the incident which occurred, near Songpekjang on the Taphou Naga to Liangmei Taphou road, the vehicle got swept 120 meters into a ditch, resulting in one fatality and three injuries from among the four occupants.

Responding to a civilian request on Friday, the Indian Army mobilised a recovery team, which took four hours to retrieve the vehicle.
