Thoubal, October 27 2021: The Social And Educational Welfare Organisation (SEWO), Manipur has strongly condemned the alleged assault on Thoubal correspondent of Naharolgi Thoudang and vice president, Thoubal District Working Journalist Union, Elangbam Rameshwor by unknown miscreants at his own home at Heirok.

In a release issued by Roshan Khullakpam, SEWO Manipur Spokesperson, the organisation called the incident unfortunate and appealed to all concerned to not repeat such acts of violence in the future.

SEWO Manipur further shared the pain and extended its support to Elangbam Rameshwor and his family.
