Kakching, June 26 2025: As part of the 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam 2.0' initiative, National Highways & Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHIDCL) Project Monitoring Unit (PMU)-Churachandpur planted tree sap lings in Wangjing area along the National Highway-102 (Imphal-Moreh road) on Wednesday.

The programme was participated by students of Lamding Model Higher Secondary School along with officials of NHIDCL, PMU-Churachandpur and Office of Divisional Forest Officer, Thoubal.

The plantation was conducted with an aim to increase the green cover, check air and noise pollution, prevent soil erosion and maintain ecological balance.
