JAC urges early release of Sep salary

Imphal, September 24 2026: The Joint Administrative Council (JAC) of AMTUC and AMGEA has urged the Manipur Government to release the salary and pension of Government employees and pensioners for September 2026 on September 25, ahead of a proposed bank strike from September 28 to 30 .

In a letter Addressed to the Chief Secretary on Thursday, the JAC said the request was made in view of the three-day strike call by the United Forum of Bank Unions in connection with its charter of demands.
