Imphal, June 24 2014: Manipur Muslim Welfare Organisation (MMWO) and All Manipur Muslim Development Organisation (AMMDO) organised a one-day special awareness programme on upliftment of backward and needy people and settlement of Manipuri Muslim (Meitei Pangal) and their contribution in the soil of Manipur at Bengoon community hall today.

GP Women's College Associate Professor Syed Wahidur Rahman, ICRA Secretary SM Sheikh, M Mustapha of AMU Aligarh, AMUCO advisor KT Rahman, BE writer and publisher FM Abdul Helim, Madrassa Mazgarul Uloom Mohtamin Mufti Abdul Haleem and Minorities Development Forum secretary general Md Rahimuddin spoke at the programme as resource persons.
