Imphal, April 24 2009: Keeping in with the spirit of taking care of security force personnel even after they hang their uniform 26 Sector Assam rifles under HQ IGAR (S) donated a foot-operated sewing machine to sep Chungkhosei of 1 Assam Rifles today, said a PRO IGAR (S) release.

Informing that Chungkhosei retired from the Army in 1962 and subsequently lost one of his leg, the PRO expressed gift of sewing machine will add to Chungkhosei's earning and assist him in improving standard of living.
