Imphal, February 24: Chothe tribes' traditional festival Inampei Lin has been celebrated today at Lamlanghupi Chothe village of Bishnupur district.

The festival, which was organised by Chothe Ethnological Museum and Cultural Research Centre under the aegis of Indira Gandhi National Centre for Arts, New Delhi and MFDC Limited, Manipur was started on Febraury 18. This annual Chothe festival is now celebrated by a handful people of only 15 families, who are still following the indigenous faith, unlike others who had adopted Christianity.
