Imphal, August 22 2024: Under National Program for Prevention and Control of Deafness (NPPCD), District Health Mission Society organised an awareness cum screening camp at the relief camp set up at Khomdram Selungba Upper Primary School, Thangmeiband on Thursday.

As some of the displaced people taking shelter in the relief camps raised complaints, screening was conducted using audiometer.

Out of the 262 displaced people in the relief camps, two were found in need of hearing-aid, which the Social Welfare Department will provide free of cost.

Medicines were also provided during the camp.
