Imphal, January 19 2018: Imphal West SP, Themthing Ngashangva has allotted a Head Constable and a Constable of Imphal West district police, as the personal security officers of Th Herojit Singh today.

The security was provided after the Asian Human Rights Commission wrote to DGP LM Khaute urging for security for Thounaojam Herojit who has turned whistleblower.

In his statement to the media Herojit had disclosed that he shot dead Ch Sanjit at BT Road on July 23, 2009 on the instructions of his superior officer.
