World No Tobacco Day observed

Thoubal, November 14 2024: Sangai Youth Tobacco Free and Educational Organization (SYTFEO) in collaboration with New Era Higher Secondary School, Thoubal today observed "World No Tobacco Day" under the theme "Protecting Children from Tobacco Industry Interference" at the school campus of New Era Higher Secondary School, Thoubal Wangmataba.

Students, teachers and staff from various institutes of Thoubal district were given awareness on the health impacts of using tobacco products.

The event was attended by Yumnam Satyajeet, designated officer of Food Safety Administration, Thoubal, Th Kumar, Principal of New Era Higher Secondary School, A Anilkumar, ZEO Thoubal, Dr S Bimolakumari, Ex CMO, Dr Mutum Bikramjit, DNO, NTCP, DHS, Thoubal, Premjit Thokchom, co-founder and president of SYTFEO and various members of SYTFEO.
