Kakching, January 14 2025: Tobacco Free Youth Campaign 2.0 for the district was launched by Kakching chief medical officer Dr Thaodem Rajen at Community Health Centre (CHC), Sugnu on Tuesday.

The programme, organised by District Health Society, Kakching under the aegis of National Tobacco Control Programme (NTCP), was attended by CHC, Sugnu MO in-charge Dr Thingbaijam Ibohanbi; district nodal officer Dr Takhellambam Julon; and Kakching district programme manager Oinam Pushpa as presidium members.

Later, an awareness programme for students on harmful effects of tobacco use was held at M Ganga Academy, Sugnu.
