Imphal, July 10 2026: The Public Health Engineering Department, Manipur, has informed that there will be irregular water supply to the public in areas covered by the Porompat Water Treatment Plant due to repair/maintenance of the electrical transformer at the Plant.

The affected areas include New Checkon, Nongmeibung, Thawanthaba Leirak, Tribal Colony, Khalabung Leirak, Soibam Leikai, Ayangpalli Road, Kongpal, Tellipati, Wangkhei Khunou, Hatta, Rahmania, Top Khongnang Makhong and Thambalkhong, among others.

According to the department, normal water supply will be resumed as soon as the maintenance work is completed.
