Combine team nabs SOREPA cadre

Imphal, June 10 2024: A cadre of the armed Socialist Revolutionary Party (SOREPA), Kangleipak was apprehended by a combined security team from Huikap area under Imphal East district, on Sunday.

According to a police report, acting on a tip-off about presence of armed individuals in Huikap area, a joint team of Indian Army and Manipur Police conducted search leading to the nabbing of a member of SOREPA.

The team recovered a 9mm pistol along with 4 rounds, 20 additional rounds and three hand grenades from the possession of the arrested cadre.
