Imphal, August 09 2026: A Khubak Ishei Festival organised by the Manipuri Arangpham Development and Cultural Institution (MADCI) was held today at the Community Hall of Haorang Sabal Awang Leikai.

The function was attended by Director of Jawaharlal Nehru Manipur Dance Academy, Bilash Pukhrambam; founder member of APAL, Kirankumar Mayanglambam; and president of MADCI, Leishangthem Apabi Singh as presidium members.

At the event, the dignitaries deliberated on the important role played by 'Arangpham' in traditional cultural and ritual ceremonies of the State.
