Imphal, March 09 2019: As a continued endeavour to reach the general public, the Tamei Bn under aegis of Senapati Bde of Red Shield Div jointly organized a medical camp with the Liangmei Naga Pui Rongdi (Women's Society), Tamei at the R Tale Ima Market, Tamei yesterday.

150 people attended the camp.

Chief guest of the event Esther expressed that woman empowerment is the key to strengthening women participation in the decision-making process.

She appealed the women folk to take cues from the all-women Assam Rifles contingent which recently participated in R-Day parade as an inspiration for 'Nari-Shakti' .

It was a matter of great honour and pride for Tamei Bn to be able to help the 'Imas' of Tamei and neighbouring villages, said a statement of PIB (Defence Wing) .
