Imphal, July 07 2024: Wakhallol Mannaba Apunba (WAMA), Kangleipak has extended financial assistance to its member Leimajam Sachi Chanu (50), an activist of Manipuri language, script and ST demand, who is suffering from an ailment.

A 20-member team of WAMA led by its president Moirangthem Naokhomba visited the activist at her home at Langthabal Kunja on Sunday and handed over the cash assistance, which also include contribution from Meetei Erol Eyek Loinasillon Apunba Lup (MEELAL).

Naokhomba has appealed to the people of the state to support the activist in her times of distress.
