IPF, Thawai Mirel extend relief aid

Imphal, June 05 2024:
Indigenous People's Forum and Thawai Mirel jointly distributed edibles and daily essential items to flood-affected families staying in the relief camps opened in Ragailong, Tangkhul Naga Baptist Church in Kabo Leikai and Khurai Lairikyengbam Leikai, on Wednesday.
Appreciating the gesture, chairman of Tangkhul Naga Bap -tist Church, Imphal informed that the flood-hit families are being fed and sheltered by valley-based Tangkhul CSOs like TSLI, TKLI and UTBCI.
Relief camps have also been opened at Langol and Lanthung Ching, with around 20-30 volunteers taking care of their food daily, he conveyed.
