Imphal, December 04, 2008: The Khengjoy village chief has insisted that the Khengjoy SDC/BDO/TD Block office should be built at Khengjoy.

Speaking to reporters at Manipur Press Club today, Khengjoy chief Thengkhothang Haokip also decried the statement made the Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Minister on November 19 in which he declared to construct the SDC/BDO/TD Block office at Khangbarol in place of Khengjoy on the pretext of bad transport infrastructure of Khengjoy.
