Potable water distributed to flood-hit

Imphal, July 04 2024: Social activist Oinam Romen, in collaboration with EC Club, distributed drinking water to the flood-affected families of Singjamei assembly constituency on Thursday.

Speaking to reporters, Oinam Romen explained that he and the EC Club decided to provide safe drinking water to the residents, who are suffering due to flooding.

Each family impacted by the flood received two 20-litre water jars.

He emphasised that their initiative was driven by a sincere desire to assist those in need, rather than for political gain and appealed to individuals to come forward and support the affected people.
