Indian Army observes World Wildlife Day at Leimakhong

Imphal, March 04 2025: The Indian Army commemorated World Wildlife Day today at Bethel School, Leimakhong in Manipur.

The event was organised to raise awareness about wildlife protection, ecological balance, and the collective responsibility of preserving nature for future generations.

As part of the initiative, a tree plantation drive was organised, encouraging over 120 students to actively participate in afforestation efforts.

Additionally, a special film was also screened on wildlife conservation providing valuable insights into biodiversity protection and sustainable coexistence with nature, said the PIB (Defence Wing) in a release.
