MR man dies in suspected suicide case

Imphal, June 03 2025: A rifleman of 8th Manipur Rifles, who was on duty at the Khongnang Pheisabi police outpost in Kakching district, allegedly died by suicide after shooting himself with his service weapon on Tuesday afternoon.

The incident reportedly occurred around 1:30 pm.

The deceased has been identified as rifleman Kabrambam Ibomcha Singh (33) s/o (late) Sanaton Singh of Serou Bazar.

His service number is 082010223.The body has been brought to RIMS mortuary for post-mortem examination.
