Imphal, August 01 2026: United Peoples’ Front (UPF), Manipur today formed its Imphal East District Council with 15 members at Nongmeibung Thamchet High School.

The new members were sworn-in by UPF Head Office president Nongthombam Rupa Chandra.
Thouchom Ranbir was named district president.

Other office bearers include Nongthombam Bimom and Ksh Khirojit as vice presidents, Kh Bikram as secretary, S Somokanta as joint secretary, Ksh Bivek as finance secretary, and O Robinson as organisation secretary, along with 8 executive members.
