New emergency number of Imphal Fire service notified

Imphal, June 01 2024: Due to the malfunctioning of the Imphal Fire Service's emergency number (0385-2450101) following the current flood, the public have been advised to contact the new number 8415925200 for all emergency-related calls, as communicated by the Manipur Fire Service.

It has also been reported that measures have been implemented to initiate transportation services using fire boats, as well as the distribution of safe drinking water in various flood-affected areas, including Keikon, Maibakhul, Lairikyengbam Leikai and Paona Bazaar.
