MDA extends aid to ailing driver

Imphal, July 30 2024: Manipur Drivers' Association (MDA) has extended financial assistance to one Laimayum Pilot (36), son of Angousana of Moirang Nangkhalawai, who is currently undergoing treatment at JNIMS surgery ward.

An MDA team led by president S Babudhon, advisor Ganga Singh, general secretary Ksh Sanjay and assistant secretary Kh Sangitcharan went to the hospital on Tuesday, and handed over the cash assistance to the family members.

According to MDA, Pilot has been a driver for the last 15 years before he developed a health condition suddenly.

MDA assured further assistance towards his surgery.
