Imphal, March 29 2025: Refuting the news article published by this daily on March 29 edition titled 'PREPAK-Pro and KYKL extend condolences', staff officer of IGAR (S) said that the article misrepresents facts and incorrectly states that the Indian Army is using KNA(B) as a proxy and is operating jointly with KNA(B).

In a rebuttal, the staff officer of IGAR (S) reiterated that the Indian Army operates as per the mandate of Government of India and remains committed to maintaining peace and security without bias.

It also said that publishing of such unverified and incorrect news by media houses can stoke emotions and threaten peace.
