'Mangani Leihun' for eight victims held

Jiribam, November 26 2024:
'Mangani Leihun', funeral rituals for eight people including three children killed by Kuki militants, was held at Lamlen Leikai community hall, Babupara on Tuesday.
During the programme - which was attended by family members, meira paibi activists, CSO leaders and public - floral tributes were paid to the photos of the deceased.
The eight victims were Laishram Baren (63), Maibam Kesho (71), Yurembam Rani Devi (66), Laishram Heitombi Devi (25) and sons Chingkheinganba (2.5) and eight-month old Lamnganba, and Telem Thoibi Devi (30) and her daughter Telem Thajamanbi.
