DESAM holds debating competition

Imphal, June 26 2025: In connection with the observance of International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking-2025, Democratic Students' Alliance of Manipur (DESAM) organised a debating competition on the motion "Drug issues can be solved with sincere govern ment efforts", at Modern College, Porompat, here, on Thursday.

The competition was participated by 26 debaters, with 13 members in the treasury bench and opposition.

Shrikant Thokchom, Mayengbam Mangal and Khumukcham Srinivash won the first, second and third position respectively, while five students received consolation prizes.
