AR leads awareness session against substance abuse

Tengnoupal, July 19 2025: Assam Rifles conducted an awareness session as part of Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan at New Shijang Village in Tengnoupal district.

The campaign, with a particular emphasis on youth, sought to highlight the detrimental effects of drug abuse and encourage the adoption of a healthy, drug-free lifestyle within the community, as per a press release issued by IGAR (S).

Officials sensitised participants on the physical, psychological and social ramifications of substance abuse.

The awareness session was attended by 25 villagers.
