Imphal, April 19 2026: The Cultural Forum, Manipur (CFM) held an emergency condolence meeting at its office in the Rupmahal Tank Complex on Saturday to mourn the demise of Prof Chongtham Yamini Devi.

Chaired by forum president Prof Koijam Shantibala Devi, the meeting recalled Prof Yamini's contributions to Manipur's literary landscape.

Members shared the grief of the bereaved family and observed a two-minute silence for the departed soul.
