Imphal, August 18 2025: The 34th edition of Manipuri Language Day will be celebrated on August 20 and 21 at Najrul Kalakshetra, Agartala, Tripura to commemorate the inclusion of Manipuri language in the 8th Schedule of the Indian Constitution.

The observance will be organised by the Directorate of Kokborok & Other Minority Language, Government of Tripura.

The two-day event will be inaugurated by the Agartala Municipal Corporation, Mayor and MLA Dipak Majumder in presence of Director of Education, Ananda Hari Jamatia, Education Special Secretary, RH Kumar.
