Imphal, July 15 2026: The Court of the Special Judge (POCSO), Bishnupur, has remanded a 23-year-old man arrested in connection with a POCSO case to judicial custody till July 29 .

The accused, Laishram Rocky Singh, son of Ningthem of Wangjing Hodamba Maning Leikai and presently residing at Porompat Pong Lambi Lane No 1, was produced before the Court following his arrest.

Counsel for the accused filed an objection to the remand and sought bail.

However, the Court rejected the bail plea and remanded him to judicial custody.

The next hearing has been scheduled for July 29 .
