Lamka, April 12:
A forty years old nanny and her grand son were injured when lightning struck them inside their residence early today at Leikot village, about 5 kms south if CCpur police station.
Lhingjahat, 40 wife of Tongkam is said to be carrying her grandson Thangmuanlal, 10 on her back when the fateful lightning struck them at around 5:30 am.
As the lightning reportedly passed through them, part of the woman's back and tummy of the kid were scorched consequently.
The duo is said to be out of danger yet they still were profoundly in pain.
Some wooden pillars located inside the house bore burnt marks.
however, nothing transpired at the tin roof.
