Assam Rifles organises cleanliness drive

Kakching, January 12 2025: Assam Rifles conducted a cleanliness drive at Komlakhong village, along the bank of Imphal river and Loktak Lake on Sunday.

The drive was conducted as a part of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan with emphasis on preserving natural resources for future generations.

Approximately 110 people, including locals, meira paibi activists, and AR personnel joined hands to clear garbage, collect plastic waste, and raise awareness about maintaining hygiene and protecting water bodies.
