Moirang, November 11 2025:
The indefinite bandh along the Kumbi-Wangoo road, which had entered its eight day over the authorities' failure to repair the damaged road stretch, has been temporarily suspended from tomorrow morning.
The decision was taken today during a public meeting held late this evening, considering the hardships faced by the public and the onset of the paddy harvesting season.
During the meeting, it was also resolved to form a new committee named the "Kumbi Kendra Road Demand Committee 2025", with M Indu Devi elected as president, Jaya Khangembam as secretary, and W Raghu as advisor.
The formation was approved unanimously by the gathering.
