Imphal, February 08: The 36th local conference of Bishnupur Local Council Communist Party of India was held yesterday at the residence of Sanjoy Mutum.

State secretariat member Sotinkumar Singh, working president Manipur Loumi Lup State Unit S Nilkamal, President All Manipur Nupi Marup Bishnupur district N Leiren Devi and S Indrajit were the presidium members of the function.

The executive council of Bishnupur Local Council composed of 21 members for 2008 tenure was also formed, according to secretary CPI Bishnupur Local Kh Nilladhaja Singh.
