Orange Growers' Meet concludes

Imphal, December 04, 2008: The two day long Orange Growers' Met 2008 concluded today at Phoklong village in Tousem sub-division, reports our Jiribam correspondent.

The closing function of the meet was graced by Tousem SDO D Gangmei as chief guest.

Items like traditional dance competition, orange eating competition and Orange Queen contest marked the event.

Presentation by popular singers, Jiangam Kamei and Alvina Gonson added colour to the function where thousands of high quality oranges were also displayed.
