Imphal, July 01 2026: The Rotary Club of Imphal (RID 3240) marked the start of Rotary New Year 2026-27 on Wednesday with a District Tree Plantation Drive under the “One District, One Dream” initiative, aligning with Rotary International’s theme ‘Create Lasting Impact’ .

Members planted native fruit-bearing saplings at Rotary Bhavan, Mantripukhri, and Poirei Nawakol Children Home, Achanbigei, to promote a greener environment.

The programme was sponsored by Chiranjiv Kaur in memory of Late Surinder Singh Kaiser and Harnoor Kaur.
