Imphal, April 01: Enraged with the extra-judicial torture and sexual harassment of M Naobi by Thoubal police commandos and unsatisfactory State Government's response, a sit-inprotest was staged today at Keishamthong under the aegis of the Apunba Lup against the bestial conduct of the State forces and demanding befitting punishment of the errant commando personnel.

Likewise sit-in-protest was also staged by numerous women of Khurai side at Lamlong Keithel for the same cause on March 29.Similar sit-in-protest were also witnessed in several places in between Ithem Moirangpurel and Leirongthel, Keibi and Sagolmang.
