Thoubal, August 30 2024: Insecticides were sprayed along the roadside and stagnant water bodies near homes from Tomjing Makhong to Kshetri Leikai Moirangpalli under Thoubal Kshetri Leikai Ward No 3 and 4 today.

The initiative was taken up as a move to prevent the spread of mosquito-borne diseases in the area.

Kshetri Leikai Apunba Semgat Sagat Lup (KASSL) and Youth For Tomorrow (YFT) Thoubal Kshetri Leikai with the help of District Malaria Officer (DMO) Thoubal kicked off the insecticide spraying drive which will continue in other parts of the area.
