RFF extends relief to Khoupum flood victims

Noney, July 26 2025: A team of the Rongmei Film Forum, led by its president Jiandai Gangmei, visited flood-affected families in Khoupum Valley, Noney district, on July 24 to provide relief materials.

The team, comprising actors, actresses and singers from the forum, distributed essential items including dal, sugar, salt, edible oil, soap, ngari (fermented dry fish), tea and milk powder to residents whose homes and livelihoods were impacted by the recent flash flood that occurred on the intervening night of July 15 and 16.The flood left over 24 houses extensively damaged and large areas of paddy fields inundated.
