Imphal, February 26 2026: Keirao Women's Cultural Center, Keirao Bitra staged a poignant social play, "Echadi Jagoi Heibini", at Irilbung today, commemorating 150 years of Vande Mataram.

The event held at Huyen Lallong Manipur Thang-Ta Cultural Association auditorium drew notable attendees, including K Sanathoiba Sharma, director, Huyen Lallong Manipur Thang-Ta Cultural Association; Mutum Jadumani, retired Principal, Azad Higher Secondary School; and Mutum Dhananjay, retired Headmaster.

Urup High School.

In his address, K Sanathoiba emphasized that drama is a mirror of society; reflecting social happenings and changes over time.

He also lauded the center's efforts to keep this art form alive.
