Imphal, September 24 2024: A man, who was found unconscious near Imphal Urban Cooperative Bank, MG Avenue and subsequently admitted to RIMS by the police, has been declared brought dead by the doctors on duty.

The deceased has been identified as Sanglakpam Joy alias Nirupama s/o late S Di-jamani of Thangmeiband Maisnam Leikai.

According to police reports, after Joy was found unconscious around 1:50 pm a team of City police station took him to RIMS, where he was pronounced dead at 2:20 pm.

The police station has registered an unnatural death case, and deposited the body at RIMS mortuary for postmortem examination.
