Meet urges NIT's early construction

Imphal, February 24: A public meeting held today at THAU sports complex has resolved to urge the State Government expedite construction of National Institute of Technology (NIT) in the State.

During the public meeting held under the aegis of the Demand Committee on NIT at Lamphelpat, it was also resolved that the Government should bring out a blue print detailing the exiting structures at Langol and Lamphelpat, areas that may be acquired and the areas likely to be left out.

As the meeting endorsed the stance of the Demand Committee, other social organisations which participated in the meeting also pledged support to the Demand Committee.
